CREATIVA is a women-led branding and website studio with roots in New Zealand and Ireland, working with businesses and organisations around the world.
But our story has never been just about design.
It began with two migrant women looking for a way to keep doing the work they loved while building a life around their families. More than a decade later, that same belief in creating opportunities, supporting people and doing meaningful work still shapes the business we are today.
Our Story
CREATIVA started with two women, two families and one shared idea.
When Maribel and Vera met in New Zealand, they quickly discovered how much they had in common. Both were migrant women, both came from creative backgrounds, and both understood how difficult it could be to find meaningful professional opportunities while raising a family.
So, in 2014, they decided to create their own.
CREATIVA began as a way to keep doing the creative work they loved, on terms that worked for their lives. What started small gradually grew through relationships, referrals and a shared belief that business could be done differently.
As the studio grew, so did the idea behind it.
In 2018, we began building a team of women who also needed flexibility, opportunity and a place where their skills could grow. And in 2023, when Maribel relocated to Dublin, CREATIVA became an international studio—strengthening the connection between New Zealand and Europe while continuing to work with clients around the world.
Today, CREATIVA has grown far beyond what we imagined at the beginning, but the heart of the business hasn't changed.
We believe good business should create opportunities—not only for the people we work with, but for the people we work alongside.

We're a small, collaborative team of designers, strategists, marketers, writers and digital specialists working across locations, cultures and time zones.
Many of us understand what it's like to balance work with family, migration, change and everything else life brings. That lived experience has shaped the kind of workplace we've built and the way we work with our clients.
